Maybe someday we will drive down to Banglore with our classics and catch up with our Banglore brothers. What say FCCCI Mumbai.
This Dukkar was bought by Dr. Rajesh seven years ago for 12k!! Only minus point is it has a Padmini engine.

Thanks to some Top Brass Police officials who gave us good security as they felt Fiat Clubs' might also be on the Terror Hit List.
Seriously...did some passing Govt Officials stop to check out the Fiats??? I wasn't there at this point in the event.

Yes, it has been discussed in the forum earlier.

Yup, the Amby is visible in the pic.! What a surprise to get security for them for such an event! We weren't as lucky last year, were infact forbidden to host any events in our usual venue last year!

Dear all Bangalore FCCCI members - I always knew that there are lovely fiats in Bangalore. It is very nice to see most of them. I think the best one is the black dukkar. I am happy to see that the wheel caps are protected from falling off. The other selects & the President with the extremely rare logo at the back are also very well kept. Then there is the original 1100D but with a Padmini monogram on its grille which must be changed immediately and a FIAT monogram put in its place. But the most notable is that a car which is "under restoration" showed up for the event. The Padminis are also well maintained. Well done Bangalore.

By the way, I still remember a black 1956 "dukkar" with the 3 slot grille passing me by near the Bangalore airport. See if you can locate it. It was superb.

Well well, Arun had to forget his cell phone at home (and my number in it). I was expecting a call at around 1100 hrs. No issues, we will talk next month when we all meet. As we in FCCCI Mumbai meet at 1100 hrs on the first Sunday of every month, I suggest you guys also do the same so that we can talk when all of us are there.

And yes, I totally agree with Amol that one day we will drive down to Bangalore in our cars and meet all of you. Bangalore is "only" 1000 kms from Mumbai and the road is superb. Winter is a nice time for the cars as well as for us. Let's plan it and do it.

Best regards,

Behram Dhabhar

Arun this is unfair, you steeaaal a dekho all alone. Well that's a TV LHD model, we will give more updates soon.

Dr. Rajesh has also got the original elegent engine with him along with couple of parts. He is going to restore his car, I gave him my support for that and told about Amol's car and the superb research available on hand.

I will post few more pictures of Duckkars, Select and President plus the Padmani running on Headers and Free Flow Exhaust.

Behram Dhabhar comments are all welcomed, we would love to have the honour of welcoming our friends from the Aamchi Mumbai and Pune. First one is the President

Dear Manish - thank you for the excellent photographs. I am attaching 2 photographs of my Super Select MRY3112. The engine compartment shows the S1 exhaust manifold which will deliver the same performance as headers alongwith complete reliability. Incidentally MRY3112's engine has my stage 1 rally piper camshaft also.

Enjoy,

Best regards,

Behram Dhabhar

Behram Sir,

Tks for the lovely lovely pictures of your car (I intend to paint my car the same). CamShaft wow, that's cool. She gonaa play spoil sport on the redlights.

What if we put the same package in a dukkar (the one which has got no originality). It will be a blast.

Im sure you all enjoyed the Fiat meet.I was waiting for the pics and thrilled to see so many enthusiasts assemble at cubbon Park.
You should have taken a pic of cars lined up with their owners and indicated the names of the owners. That way we know who is who....

Im kind of preparing an agenda for a similar meet for Hyderabadians once the monsoons settles down.
