Fiat 1100 TV

Here I am posting a few pics Of LHD Fiat 1100 103 TV . This car is owned by Mr. Rajendra who has many rare vintage cars.

Not much history of this car is known as he bought it from a person only after he died as he refused to give it to Mr. Rajendra all along his life. Almost all the original fittings came with the car and this car will be restored soon.

According to Rajendra there are only two such cars in India (actually may be more), the other one in Delhi is supposed to be in very bad shape.

We need the Pune guys to join us too.. What a whopper of a meet it will be !! I can just see the headlines: "Fiats regroup with a vengeance after RTO issues scrap orders." Imagine - seventy or so Fiats in full regalia.
In fact this will be an interesting title for a forthcoming Stephen King novel: "the Fiat."

February is a good month, lets wait for others too to give their views, post this idea in FCCCI-Mumbai thread too. There is enough time for us to plan a big meet

Dear all - so we have one more left hand drive fiat in India. I am giving a list of all left hand drive fiats that I know of.

1 - MH01YA3238 - my 1996 model car in Mumbai.
2 - MRY9501 - Rony Vesuna's 1965 model car in Mumbai, now sold.
3 - MMF2577 - Mr.Kulkarni's 1978 model car in Mumbai, now sold.
4 - MRA something - a dark blue car I used to see in Mumbai in 1975.
5 - MRZ3618 - Salil Phanse's 1963 model car in Pune.
6 - MHU6670 - Sam William's 1957 model car in Pune.
7 - I don't know the number - Dr.Pant's 1964 model car in Pune.
8 - MTP1550 - an orange coloured car which I saw driving by in Pune.
9 - AAX8734 - I don't know the owner's name - seems to be in Hyderabad.
10 - I don't know the number - Mr.Dev Bakshi's green coloured car. He has picked it up recently from Indore.
11 - MYV7600 - Mr.Rajendra's car gets added to the list today.
12 - There are rumors of one car in the Nizam of Hyderabad's collection.
13 - There was a black car in Hyderabad which I saw on this forum.

This list is in no way complete. If I have missed out some car, please add.

I may mention that although all cars were imported during various times, my car is the only car which was manufactured here in India, exported to Dubai and reimported. I compliment Karlosdeville for thinking about this. Thanks Karl.

Best regards,

Behram Dhabhar

Millecento

Here is another Milecento of our newest member, Mr. Rizwan staying in Richmond Town, Blore. His car was recently restored in a garage where Raviprakash(Vintage car collector) restores his cars. It took eight months to restore.

Are the body trims and tail lights original?

I got to know know about this person when i was browsing through some Italian Fiat Club website, where i suddenly found this guy. He had registered in that club a year ago so that he could get some link to a Indian Fiat Club. Luckily it really happened so.

Arun has a great knack of finding fiatians in Bangalore. Be it on the streets or through the internet, nothing can get past him. Hats off to him.

He will surely ensure to connect more and more Fiat lovers to our club. Hats off!!

Dude thats one hell of a car , when can we meet him (and today I am busy so please excuse me of not meeting mr. rajendra).

Yes the tail lights and trim are original but not the wheels, it is 1954-55 millicento. the wheels should be like this with rim shoulders painted in color of the car

Fiat 1100 Club - Bangalore [FCB]-sonycamv187fd9.jpg

and wheel caps like this
