Lovely 123. She seems in great shape. How about a detailed thread on how you got her into this pristine condition with pictures in tow?

Gorgeous

The car looks wonderful, unusual but attractive colour. Those MBs from the early 80s have a special aura and appeal all their own.

Congratulations and enjoy this wonderful car.

Cheers,

Just for fun I checked Wikipedia, it turns out that 1982 was the last year of these headlights. In September 1982 they got the rectangular ones!

Good, solid look and with the "built like a tank design".This W123 really looks good.A 200 petrol so it has 109 ps and 170 nm of torque(according to wikipedia).

Nice looking car you have there g1_gold!! Waiting to see and hear more.

(Its interesting to see how many W123s are atypical colours, like orange, green, yellow, peach. Quite funky!)

Do a search for "w123" on team-bhp and you'll find quite a few threads.

Why check wiki-pedia?? If you wait a bit, soon enough Gogi-pedia will be in this thread

(And personally i definitely prefer the euro/rectangular headlights vs the round sealed beams, but there are quite a few others who feel the opposite way!)

You read my mind

123s somehow always manage to pull off these psychadelic colours. Most were offered from the factory. There is a superb original bright yellow car down the road from me, yet it manages to look very stately.

Incidentally a colour very similar to this orange car was offered on VW for years, called Coral Red.

EDIT - what a coincidence, on your profile page I see you own an orange Beetle too. Do share some pictures of that as well.
