hmm... looks clean. I think you should get rid of the front fong lamps and that horn under the front bumper. Share some more info. Seen these kind of cars in yester hindi movies a lot like qurbani, the great gambler (car chase).

And the black wing-mirrors also, please!
The 70s Datsuns were very popular in SE Asia (alongwith Corollas) and also parts of the gulf/Africa. A Hyderabadi doctor we knew in Libya back in 1997 had one in Lime Green (period colour?), looked like this IIRC:

'also used to see a beat-up blue one in Singapore that would often drive down from Malaysia and back. Had it belonged to SG, the car in that condition would've been wiped out from the roads long before!

There were plenty of these Datsuns in Hyderabad. The ICRISAT outfit in patencheru used to import them and give them to its employees as a company car.

Have delightfull memories of cruising in these and teh later Bluebirds that replaced them.

Wonder what happened to the old cars and the Bluebirds after they finished using them.

ICRISAT incidently also had a WW2 monster petrol tanker with 8 wheels on the rear. I still have momeries of this tanker taking the turn in front of my house at the begining of road No 10. It used to come from Punja Gutta side and would actually have to reverse twice to take the turn with teh driver blowing that loud air horn.

Does anyone know what became of this ?
