Spotted this 1965-66 Vespa 150 in Pune. The condition says it needs a lot of TLC. Wonder whether it will get such care seeing its tattered condition. It has spent about 52 years on the Poona roads. The scooter is mostly original. Its speedo is however of the earliest Bajaj 150's with the blue core and the light grey rim as opposed to the black dialled Yenkay speedos that came with these from the factory. As can be seen, the handle lock is original and so is the metal tail lamp housing. The helmet box is a later addition from the 1990's seeing its sloping face. |
