I am game for it, I would prefer to have skins done in MUMBAI (politically correct ). Take a week off from office, roam around, source parts, meet all fiat crazy friends, live to your heart's content.

@Arun: Please get the numberplate removed the next time you visit Manish's car. The zinc primer cover all surfaces and more importantly should drip from all holes, including the numberplate holes.
@Sagar: Superselects and selects have a removable front panel from the factory however in most cars it is welded in place. This panel should be removed, finished and painted for a better finish.

Regards,
Adheesh Parelkar

Good to see the progress on the car!

And Many Happy Returns of the day, manish!

PS: Sorry about my 'prodding' but why have the padmini side-indicators been left on still?

Thanks for the wishes shyam. I have enough of Select (Fiat) stuff to bother about PP parts .

Amazing stuff. You plan to pick a bug in future.
Thanks for clearing the doubt. BTW the dicky stay mechanism looked like a PP side patti to me.

Manish, if you find any more VW headlights to spare, do keep me in mind for a set as my car is fitted with local units.

Also, if you find an extra fuse box, I could use it for my DLD 13 resto which is on. Thanks.

For the headlight, he had just one piece, i am looking for second. And then maybe in future I am fortunate to have bug in my home. I have just one extra, it is all yours now + One full red select lens bought earlier.

@ Sagar: my awatar photo is also of beetle .

@ Pawan : Thanks for the wishes, as for finishing a lot is to be done. Lets see how things progress.

Also Karlos I got hold of one picture of my front seats, with the v shape very clearly visible. Your comments please.

Very interesting - it looks genuine indeed. This is only on the front seat back rest? What is left on the other parts?
