Fiat 1100 "Family" -1962 -Technical, Photos & Information

There is an imported 1962 Fiat Family "Wagon" that first surfaced at the 2006 Statesman Rally and was most interesting, it's in good shape and has since had some work done on it.

I understand that there are a few around and thought that a separate thread, dedicated to this car, would be appropriate. The following is a photo that I took in 2006 and I will post more detailed photos if it is entered at this years Statesman.

I would be interested in knowing what other such cars are here in India and if this model was assembled in India.

I will post the section of the "Family" from my "1962 Fiat 1100
Instruction Book".

The first photo I posted of the blue & cream Wagon was taken at the 2007 Statesman Rally in Calcutta.

I did have a photo of a "Family" somewhere. I'll post it as soon as I find it.
BTW some of the instruction manuals for the 1100 have the same photo.

John would you have any more pictures of the Calcutta wagon?

Cyrus had photo'd this strange and modded wagon in Kotayyam when he went to buy his 96 Padmini. Note how the bonnet lines have been modded to accomodate part of the fender too.

A friend had shot this wagon in Calcutta, it was soon opened up for paint and work. Pics may be a year or 2 old.

Would see a couple of genuine 1100D familiares in Pune, but since long gone.

Are any of these 1100 103E type wagons original? or have people just slapped grills with centre lights to the face. I knew that was trend in the 70's! I also keep hearing about 1100 103E truck in Kerala. does anyone have a inkling of it. I have a set of original aluminum Hub caps for them.

Here are a few more shots of the 1100 Wagon from 2007 Statesman.
The first photo must be an Italian Fiat deluxe and I noticed it had a sun roof and the interesting grill. Would these have been original?

The Rally is next weekend and I will be taking lots of photos to post.

Yes that is NSU Neckar and here is the picture of the same from the sales catalogue, note the sunroof.

Also from all the references it looks like the Deluxe trim was addon accessory resulting in Deluxe model. Lets see what's gurus has to say on this.
