The body line suggests its an S1 but the chassis numbers / Rc Book + the Carburetor say it's PP. If we say the car is S1 and the chassis plate was lifted off and welded to S1, then why the carburettor was changed?? Mistery.

To me it seems like the car in discussion here is a 93 model premier padmini deluxe be changed to some S1 specifications. The front aim dam below grill seems to have been taken from S1 as there is a Air conditioner fitted and to flow more air in to the S1 radiator which constitutes of a degass tank(which again must have been put while AC fitment). This is purely as per my view. As stated by the mechanic who serviced it, must be a deluxe BE changed to S1 mechanicals.

It could also be a case of a car that came from another state. Instead of going through the motions of taxes and transfer, someone simply attached a valid book and plates of a scrapped car.

Folks..with a lot of pre ponderence and the playing the typical devil's advocate,I dropped the idea of aquiring this PP for the time being as there seems to be many mysteries with this car.
Im now looking out for an original S1.

How do you guys manage the funds for the club? Is there any specific vision for the club?

I hope members join the club without any fee.

Karthik..Initially the 4 founding members have contributed to a corpus fund, which is getting us going.
The vision is same as other clubs.
Once the grand launch happens,we will decide on the membership fees.
