Samsag12: Wow! You are really lucky to find these. Store them safely.

I am guessing that these parts are for your personal use. Or else there will be a list of Fiatians who would want these.

Yes sir they are for my next big project the Padmini BE to President model conversion. I got the meter few months ago(you must be remembering) and now nearly all items sourced. Just need a front grill with logo, President dicky badge, 2 side pattis, aluminum light fittings and a good 1980-1986 model Padmini BE.

Goldseal products are rare to find now a days. Unity is a very good option for Goldseal.

Good to hear that Unity is a good option.

Do you know about the availability of 'Unity' all locks set(fuel lid, driver door and dicky lock) for Padmini? I saw one pack today with a friend. He bought it from Mumbai.

I too need a set of the Unity lock set. It is also called as a Family Pack. Driver door, dickey and fuel lid will have a single key. Just another for ignition will be necessary

Thank you very much sir for your wishes & kind words. Yeah i plan to do up a Padmini into a President model. Also plan to purchase a delight at a later stage but first priority is to get the current S1 back in shape and then hunt for a good Padmini for conversion. Will need a lot of advice from you all as and when i carry out the said operations.

I am guessing it should be available. Dont remember the brand name. I had bought 1 set 6 months back. It wasnt easily available though. Try the various shops at JC road like Car Auto, Best, Nitin, Ram and Jadsons.

I need a Spider kit for my S1. The brand available was some Aliona or something starting with an "A". Have anyone heard of it? How good is it?

The spider kit that I purchased was of Allena make. This and another brand Kapila is what is available. Shop keeper recommended me Allena as its an older brand and better in quality.

I was astonished to find that none of the shops here in Bangalore have the timing chain for the Fiat. Is it the same in Mumbai too ??

Karthik the new timing chain pack is very hard to find these days. Dhruv (crackedhead) was looking one and with many difficulty he found it in a shop located in some small city. So if u find one immediately pick it up or else contact him.

You better start searching for it. BTW FYI a used one will last for about 20-30k Kms which somewhat depends on the condition. So if you get frustrated do have a look at the used ones. They will be the only source as new ones will not be available say 3 to 4 years down the line. So best of luck for the finding spree.

Timing chain set available in a store and asking price is 2k for a set! Reason for high price is: Courier charges for getting it from Delhi.
