After reading all the FIAT 1100 restoration projects, me too became a dreamer of 1100! Regarding the paint jobs, many of the duo combinations are skyblue-white (my favorite the superselect of Mr. Ravi aka 'SuperSelect').
Then for a change I was just doing some trials using GIMP software and then though, it might be interesting for 'future 1100 restorers' too.
I know most of them are too funky, but I was not trying for a classic era colourstupid:
The source image was already posted in the restoration thread of 'Superselect's' car.

My first preference will be the first image (green-white) and the second preference will be the 6th one (pink-ivory).

To be honest, if I get a FIAT 1100 I will not paint any of these colors from 2-8:uncontrol

Fellow-bhpians, please upload any such attempts that you made earlier. I've already seen some helps for particular projects.

enjoy

Mods, please watermark images 2-8. Thank you.

Hi Vinay,
Thanks for your generous comments on my dear car :) !!
Among the ones you've posted, I liked the first combo, ie green and white the most. Followed by combo no. 4, ie orange with yellowish top. But if you ask my personal opinion, most of the shades are looking a tad bling, aren't they ??
Try experimenting with blues of various hues (my fave !). Also greys.
I'd once seen a wonderful classic car in grey and - believe it, RED ! Try doing a grey body with a red top or maybe red accents ..
Cheers !

Hi Vinay,
I admire your interest in colour scheme for Fiats.Indeed the external look is very mesmerising for a Fiat. Here are my Fiat 1100 Super Select(1962) and Fiat 1100 Delight (1969) restored and painted in 2 different dual tone shades.

I tried the grey-red, but was difficult to imagine what you've seen. I've attached some trials. Ofcourse a blue-hue one for you, but I think its almost the same as yours ;)
This time only one combination (4th image-for my choice) came in a rather classical way!
The red-white with strips will be my choice if I decide for a 1100 with hot road looks.

Hi hllram, thank you. I've seen your galleries. Those colours are nice. In the attached images, you can see the green-ivory(9th) I've tried for superselect and a strip experment for your favorite red-white (8th).
Especially I liked the seat covers too. Where did you get those from? Are the bucket seats from Ambassador?

regards
