Spotted a 2 W115s yesterday. One at SV road Khar, better the less I say, it has folded up.
The other one is in a restorable condition yesterday. There is rust, liablity of a coastal place, but in good shape. Missed the turn from Mahim Causeway to Tulsi pipe Road, so took the next one. Spotted the car in the dark lane. Its a delhi registered vehicle. Couldnt take a pic as i was rushing.
Amol/Gogi/Ravi would be able to tell more about the car.

@machdar- getting short of words for your efforts towards the resto.

Hey Guys,

Another huge parcel arrived with nos trims for the outside. And also got the original bumper strips. Some more packages arriving soon so should be in a position to start stripping the car soon. Attaching the pics. Thanks for all the support guys.

Thanks for the encouraging words IndrojitSircar,

might as well do it well or rather not do it all.

In my enthusiasm I think I have ended up buying loads of stuff I may not need like it looks like I will end up with a couple of becker radios. I have not yet started stripping the car and sure will need to do some more shopping once the work starts.

Sure thing! Actually I may have lots of things to give away once I start the work. I may not want to keep too many spares as space is always a problem for me. I am actually waiting for my 124 to come home before I can start work on the 115. DO check the thread and give me your valuable inputs!

Re: W115 200D Restoration Project

Hello Machdar,
Could you update us on the restoration? Curious to know.
I'm digesting all I can to get my 1987, 190 petrol back in pristine condition. Not a major restoration like yours - just some minor bodywork, electrical and inner linings. Thanks.

Re: W115 200D Restoration Project

Spent a while going through this thread and must say, Very Nice Machdar!! I recently acquired a 1969 W115 with a diesel motor. I am planning on going the whole nine yards on it and thought it would be a good idea to add to this thread.
