My 1966 VW Beetle! A new restoration project

Hi guys

Just for all those who have wondered how well the Beetle survives the Indian summer - am upgrading my entire air-cooling system!

THe parts have arrived and the engine is off the car now.

Very soon a new cooling fan, shroud, venturi ring, thermostat flaps, et all are going to be installed. Have ordered a set of VDO gauges too- oil pressure, voltage, head temperature, oil temperature at relief valve and oil temperature at sump level. A new sump plate with air cooling fins has been ordered too!

Hi Saurabh. I am looking at restoring a 69 Beetle I have in Noida. Could you share your contact details with me if it is alright. Was wondering if I could take some tips.
