Dear Ajay,
Can you please give me the address where you got the spare parts? Are most of the spares available there?

With thanks and regards

Wow Power Twin WFM at the best. Wish to have on of this kind in my collection, as such I have two one the electronic (the last versions) another one is 78 I guess which is single owner and is 99% original. I wish I get one like this WFM I would mind bartering my bike and few in cash.

Thanks for sharing the pic, and wish my congratulations to the owener. A Very very well kept bike.

Certainly the James, BSA BB31 and Ariel 650 are great bikes, but have not got a chance to ride them! Have seen them only in exhibitions!

Please do write up on these bikes when you find time, Guess there would certainly be more people interested to know and understand these bikes.

Regards,
Ajay
Sure will do it !!, but about James ML, I have already written & posted pics, will post the link.
About BSA BB31......pics are already posted at T-Bhp, will do a write up at appropriate thread & post the link.
About Aerial........Have to wait( yet to be restored)
Yezdi 350......Everything done...needs a paint job...but for sure post pic to explain about Inverted steering dampers .

Glomus123,
Most of the parts for the latest Rajdoots are available in chennai, but in many shops. The Engine kit , I found the place through another Tbhpian, and bought it from Faridabad when I visited the place.I travel frequently to North and East India.

There are almost 1000's of rajdoots still running in UP, Bihar, Jharkhand, Orissa. but all are from the 80's . I have never seen the 4 gear models in any of these places.
If some part is very troublesome, I source it from any of these places.

All other parts are available with 2 stores in chennai

1. RM autos Royapettah
This shop is near the exit of the second flyover when you come from Mt. Road into Peters road.

2. Raja autos Royapettah
This shop is opposite the Royapettah mortuary.

Since my mechanic is located close to royapettah, I / he get from these shops.

There are other shops in Pudupet and GP road, but will require a lot of running around and genuinty will be a concern
btw , where are u located? KL?

Dear Ajay
Thanks a lot for your information. Yes I am in Kerala, but my wife's family is in Chennai. My dad used to procure from Yamaha service centre in Palakkad, but these days he find difficulty in some parts. I will contact you if any important part is not available after looking out in Chennai. Thank you very much for your kindness.

With thanks and regards

The engine kit and the clutch kit that i bought in faridabad were also from the yamaha service centre at Bhagat Singh road. I guess you try the service centre at Palakkad.
he might source the same from Yamaha.

I thrissur, there is a shop called Grand Autos opposite the railway station. he also stocks a lot of parts. The owner's name is 'seby thomas' try that store also.

I will post pics of the Yamaha sticker this evening. Guess the customer care email id will be of some help to you.

Regards,
Ajay
