Re: Restoration - 1962 Jawa Type 353 Kyvacka. EDIT : Now Completed!

One of the best Jawa i have ever seen. Getting this kind of work done by Addu is quite tough.
Congrates Patrick your pateint and hardwork paid off, hows the idea of putting safety guards to these unique front bottom fairings just like SBK fairing protector as i am sure they are very rare to find.

Re: Restoration - 1962 Jawa Type 353 Kyvacka. EDIT : Now Completed!

hats off to
a) the owner
b) the mechanic
c) Jawa for having sold these beauties here in our land.

Now after getting the bike to this pristine condition, i wouldnt dare to bring it on roads at all. even on dry days. Because this bike looks so neat and clean.
hats off once again ( must see this bike once, can i ? )

Ajay and Mohan: Thank you guys. Of course do drop in and check the bike out.

Adding anything else to the shield is just going to spoil its beauty. Also I dont intend on using it much or parking it at unknown places.

Tuffryder, thatis a good restoration on a very rare bike. Your efforts, dedication and passion is revealed very well on the outcome. Congrats and wish you many more successful restorations.

And I see a classic bull behind your Jawa in one of your pics. Any plans for it? I am a Bullet freak and would be interested in getting some details of the beast .

Hi BUl: Thank you and cheers.

The bull that is in the picture is a very new one, 1995. She is my daily ride and is in very good condition. The other one that I have is a 1980 single owner bike with very few things changed (wear and tear), still on its original paint.

Hi Pat,
As you aware of....'am not a computer geek, just thought of posting this parts catalog for our Jawa freaks ( after being tired after sending more than half a dozen "Hard copies" till making this pdf file after investing nearly 670 INR at a Cyber caf'e)
Dint know how to post, it was our " Srinikasyap" , who directed me to get a '"rapid share" link....
Hence I did so...
Let me try some other method to post a reliable link for this " Pdf " file
If my attempt fails....for sure will leave it for you Computer wizards ( will send you the pdf file CD to you!!)

Re: Restoration - 1962 Jawa Type 353 Kyvacka. EDIT : Now Completed!

TuffRyder,
Grew up with an uncle who worked for Ideal Java in Mysore, so I have always been around Yezdis and Java motorcycles. This is the best Java I have ever seen. Your attention to detail is very very impressive. Kudos to you and your team for a job very well done. Thanks for all the pics and this thread.

PS: As an Agnostic and a motorcycle lover, I must say that is the best signature I have ever seen.
