Thanks, Akshay, that is very generous of you. I'm glad you enjoy the thread as much as we enjoyed the drive!

Three times. I've worked that to a nicety!
Thanks for your appreciation too. And you certainly have a nice Mridangam like name!

Goodness. It can take me more than that to get into bigger parking space!

Re: Swami & friends, the story continues - Our 1933 Austin Seven

This is one of the most interesting threads that I have read on team-bhp. It reads like a passionate love story with Swami and I really admire the relations that you both as a couple have - and the guts to go on a trip with Swami.
Reading about the fuel pump failure - I could never have the guts to go on a 700km trip on a vintage classic.

Re: Swami & friends, the story continues - Our 1933 Austin Seven

Swami, do you have a high quality photograph (500Kb or over) of the Austin 7 and some history ie, year, import date, previous owners etc ? I would like that to include in presentation of A7s abroad at the UK Centenary in July this year. I ma not so good at using Team BHP so if you could send that to my email nickbomayne@tiscali.co.uk it would be helpful
Hope you can help, Nick Mayne in the UK

Re: Swami & friends, the story continues - Our 1933 Austin Seven

Here are a couple of interesting news snippets from Auto India Magazine, Feb 1995 and March 1996, speaking of the Austin Seven Club of India, Jodhpur. Wonder what happened to it.
