RAMPUR-18. A really cute Ford V8. The mother-in-law seat occupant flew away.

I became aware of another talented writer today

Vikramaditya Singh, (Kashmir), posted this on Himalyan history group on Facebook

Quote:
This is a post on the lighter side. Seated on the front passenger seat is my grandfather, Maharaja Hari Singh in one of his favourite cars. On the driver seat is Maharaja Umaid Singh ji of Jodhpur (grandfather of Maharaja Gaj Singhji). And seated behind him is his younger brother Ajit Singh ji. I am unable to identify the other two passengers in this beautiful car, details of which follow. Interestingly, if you zoom into the number plate, you can vaguely see 'KASHMIR'!

A similar car is with the Jodhpur royal family, along with the Delahaye. Since there is a Jodhpur connection to this photo, perhaps it is the same car surviving.
