Super find Kartik! I am pretty sure this is the Hooper Silver Ghost, chassis 133EM, now bluish and in the Bhogilal collection.

Dont know which the other Mandi R-R mentioned would be, unless it is the 20/25 GTK41- also now Bhogilal.

Here is a lovely picture of a lady perched on an early Norton. The registration reads NABHA 365 - I wonder if that implied it was a royal machine, or at the time maybe even civilian plates were in this style.

Yes, photo was taken in France.

The car is most likely a Delage D8 with coachwork by Letourneur et Marchand.

An interesting photo, described as Dr. Rajendra Prasad's visit to Darbhanga in 1955.

The tourer in the middle (with top down) looks very similar to the Baroda / later Panna R-R Phantom II 104SK with the body from the ex-Dharbanga 3XJ.

Given the date of this photo, it is likely a photo from Panna and not Darbhanga. Unfortunately, the Coat of Arms at the back of the woody is not clear.
