Hey jimmy. what in particular is unique about chassis 3CP30? If I'm not mistaken, its an American import (assuming by the white-wall tyres), done up by Ranjit Malik (i believe). Someone has posted a few pictures of the car on pg.165.
Happened to pass it once near the Chattarpur metro, but just seemed like a regular PIII.
The colour does look quite nice though.
If im not wrong, the same people have restored quite a few American import Rolls & Bentleys.

I do not know if anything is unique and I think I remember that Steve Stucky said the car has been made into parts. Search his posts to see if I am right

Yes, see my post of a couple of weeks ago. This is a mix and match chassis, chassis rails from 3AZ60, engine from 3BT135, firewall (and chassis plate) from 3CP30 - hence it being registered as this - and other bits from other chassis that were in the possession of a collector/car breaker/restorer in Chicago. And then the body from 3DL66 put on it.

This car took part in the Kanpur vintage car show on 27th January :Frustrati

Here are two freshly restored imports. These have been restored by Shrivardhan Kanoria, the famous collector and restorer from Kolkata

Both lovely cars, thanks. :D

However, the fake number plate, RR2025 does not behove a Rolls.:Shockked:

the headlamps ought to be swapped between the cars, for both cars to look better

I have more information about this car, which was put together from a number of chassis in the USA, and imported into India in 2016. The main chassis frame is from 3AZ60, the engine from 3BT135, the body is from 3DL66 and other pieces from 3CP30. The chassis plate identifies the car as 3CP30.

Thank you, Steve. We couldn't ask for a more detailed analysis of this car's 'fragmented' DNA from anyone other than an authoritative Phantom III historian and researcher extraordinaire such as yourself.:thumbs upclap:

I source this picture from here

Yes, the car is 181RY, Windovers Sedanca deVille, originally Rajpipla, and now in Udaipur registered RSY 1. The picture is taken outside Indumati Hall in Kolhapur.

Again borrowing picture from Karl's Cartier thread :)

Many thanks to Karl & Travancore for letting me know the correct chassis numbers. :)

Here are three photos of a 1937 Phantom III "newly imported into India" so the post says, at the Team BHP thread about the VCCCI Vintage & Classic Car Event in Worli, Mumbai on 16-17 March 2019. Does anyone know anything about this car, as I am trying to identify the chassis number? Thanks

Many thanks to Mr. Shrivardhan Kanoria for letting me share this picture here
