Another one from the Rajasthan event . The colour on the rims are rather DIFFERENT. Apart from that are these lights original for this car?

A Mark V again from the same event.

Isn't it strange that lots of cars all over the country have got WB Numbers on them ?

No Wasif that looks like a Mark V cabriolet. Now i don't have any more pics of the car but by this side view we can say it is a Mark V.

How is the question. The car parked next to it is also a Mark V so we would compare it with that.Uploading a bigger pic so that its easier to compare. i will mark it in one pic as well.

1). The shape of the fenders of both cars are same if we compare.

2). The parking light and a very minute portion of the Headlamp is visible being built into the fender. The Mark IV didn't have them built in.

3). We can match the rims and hub caps.

4). Shape of doors.

5). Trim on the upper portion of the doors.

6). Shape of bonnet.

7). Shape of the windshield and the quarter.

8). Mirrors on the fenders.

Some where inside me i feel its WBB 3030.

That is a Mk 5 DHC, was owned by a relative back in the day in Bangalore. It was rotting in Pune a few years back, was restored, and now is in Jaipur. There are more pics eleswhere.

Hey Tito, I did reply to your PM. Please check.
Here is a teaser of your car. Is that Captain Trivedi at the wheel? Picture taken at a famous landmark in Mumbai during an event!

Cheers harit

Yes that is a Mark IV DHC. The engine would be 1.5/2.5/3.5. Harit would be able to tell us the location and the exact size.

No, not a Jag. A SS, 2.5 Litre. Please see post 89. This car was legally exported to Australia.
In commenting, Wasif was cautious, Indro slightly hasty!

LOL Inderjit....the grille and the lamps on those DHC and Sedans are all identical...only the name changes from SS to SS-Jaguar and finally to Jaguar.

That the difference was that the 1.5 had lucas fish eye fender lights and Lucas P 80 headlights whereas teh 2.5 / 3.5 had faired in side lamps and P100 headlights....
