This piece here talks about the 1st T in Dehradun in 1914, the story was shared by Ford news in 1980.

Has this picture of these two South India based "T's" been shared before ?

A dog sitting in the driver's seat of a convertible car, probably a Model T.
A school building is visible in the distance behind the car.

This particular car is owned by an erstwhile Zamindar family in Gujarat, they use it mainly when there is a wedding in their family or when their Guruji comes.

The beautiful 1916 Ford Model T, Town Car used to belong to the Udayarpalayam Family has been wonderfully restored by TEAMCSA, Chennai. Great to see the car back to its pristine conditions
Court of Arms
Very rare body style seen in India
Car looks good
Cheers

This is probably a very early RHD (Canadian ?) Ford TT chassis being used on a tiger shoot by the Maharaja of Tikari. A chesterfield sofa seems to have been strapped on to provide seating.
Also attached is the scan of the back of the photo with some names and a screen shot of some information about the vehicle kindly provided by the svvs website.

This must be from the Statesman rally in Calcutta, the car WBP 1833 is owned by the Statesman themselves and attends every event. Last heard it was being restored in Calcutta.
