That looks like a well done car. Please do share pictures of the engine bay and the dash.

The interesting thing about this car is that id you are carring oversized loads in your boot you can actually drive with it in the open position and the license plate will hinge down and still be visible.

What an inspiration!

There are so many such cars slowly rotting away that could be returned to their original beauty, a restoration project masterfully done.

Hopefully you can share your journey with us with more photos and lots of details.

Again KUDOS

Hi! Sameer here again ,Thanks a lot to all of you for sending your views about my restoration work.
Firstly about how I came into possession of such a wonderfull car, actually the car was lying unsued with the previous owner for nearly 20years,when I came to see it it was in a very poor condition. The previous owner was a lonely old person ,who upon my enquiry as to wether the car is for sale or not replied that he had treated this car like his daughter and would part with it only on one condition thatI must not scrap it!Igave him my promise andhave fulfilled it ,in fact allmy efforts to restore this car were payed off the day I took the restored car to the previous owner and saw tears swell in his eyes upon seeing his car restored to its original glory.
The car was hub deep in mud and had to be dug out after removal of the wheels I took them to a local tyre walla and was surprised to find all the tyres could be inflated even after so many years of unuse.the car was then towed with my jeep to my residence at midnight to avoid traffic, one of the tyres split open and the tube burst and the car was towed rest of the distance on three tyres and one rim !
About the actual restoration I shall tell you in my next post .

Hi, I saw the restoration you made to the Austin and it is fantastic. I recently bought an Austin 8 and I want to know if you know where can I find parts that I may need during the restoration?
