No i doubt that... I think its the 6 series our side of town. Its more likely that he would have crashed his. Being just about 18years of age. 6series Birthday gift. You know those typical kids. Driver error. Drunk driving or just too fast and over cooking it.

Cant just sit in the comfort of my chair, in my room dressed in shorts and make judgemental statements like that. Lets give whoever was driving, a fair chance. Most accidents are also actually not due to one's own fault. One has all types of jokers driving around now a days and so many times i have witnessed crashes trying to avoid a bigger calamity. Not saying that this is not a result of what the above posts have specified, just lets see what it could be. I know so many 18-20 year olds who can drive better than 40 year olds. Lets see what the reason was.

Guys,

If I am not mistaken it was a hard top and from the looks of it the car was rammed into the pole at high speed. No question of being out of control as it was almost a straight road with a tiny bend. No skid or brake marks suggests driver dozing off.

Its a 645Ci, hard top in golden color. It was one of the very first 6 er's sold, dont know much details as to what happened.. but the car is at the workshop. The car is well as in properly used, been scratchless as yet.It was even in the UK for a year when the guy was studying there.. the driver side airbag was deployed.. major impact was taken by the engine, the front axle with the oil sump is smashed. Will post pics later, anyone have pics of the car a the accident site?
