Look at the way these concrete blocks have been placed. Totally haphazard. I see more accidents taking place because of this.

That's the easiest solution. Drive in the center of the road and don't let anyone squeeze between your car on either sides. I do this with my Scorpio .

They were placed correctly , however vehicles taking a hit has dislodged them from their original position. No one bothers to put them back in place though.

Municipal incompetence at its best. How much money or time does it take to nail these blocks in place with girders?

That would also stop morons moving these blocks to make illegal passages.

Last week I was descending the Agara flyover with a big distance between me and the car ahead. The speeds were higher on the flyover. A guy on my left lane signals to merge in front of me to avoid the car going slow in his lane.

Being courteous, I allow him to join in. Then in a moment he slows abruptly because of some guy joining the road from below the flyover and I had to brake hard behind him. I realized later that since the speeds were higher, I shouldn't have allowed him to come in between and reduce the distance between cars. Will not be so courteous in future.

Folks! Saw this Truck turned turtle at Noida Stadium traffic crossing today afternoon. Another truck was standing at some distance with frontal damage. This created a big traffic jam at the signal.

I see the impatience to overtake, and the dangerous situations in which all-wheel drivers do overtake, and I think, "What would these guys do behind an agricultural tractor on a rural, curvy UK road with double white lines?

Guess what, guys! You stay behind the tractor. Yes, even if it is doing 15kmph.There are people here who wouldn't even believe that is possible. It is, and people do. And yes, a slow-moving vehicle is supposed to pull in somewhere to clear the block, but sometime they don't and sometimes there just isn't anywhere.

On a related note, I dare you to quiz our fellow Indians on the meaning & significance of a solid or broken line between opposite lanes of traffic. I doubt most people even notice that such a line changes its form at different points along a stretch
