i drive my scorpio pretty fast compared to my other vehicles, true. infact, on the same road & similar traffic conditions, i drive my innova & safari much slower! the reasons could be as stated above. but i dont feel i drive rashly as i dont bully others. i dont cut lanes without checking my RVMs or giving indicators. i make it a point that other road users are not harrased because of me. i give way to even smaller cars like 800. and there are many scorpio drivers like me on the road. so i dont feel that MOSTLY scorpios are rashly driven. at the same time, i dont give way to idiots who overtake me from the left and then try to cut into my lane even when there is no space. i dont give way to those who try to bully me to get into my lane. so it depends......
+1, Agree.

Raj, your and I share same driving skills, though I drive a hatchback. I appreciate your driving manners.

@Smokin: Looks like your windscreen has a crack.

Its extremely risky to drive you car like that.

I spot a new wreck at a spot on the outer ring road almost on a daily basis. Once there was this zen which had been completely smashed in from the passengers side and then there was this Santro lying on its side as well.
quite scary!

Please, those folks made a mistake and paid for it with their lives. lets not tag them drunk, rich kids and typecast this accident as well.

As it is, its a crime in India to be affluent and have an accident, you get branded "spoiled rich brats" in less than a second!

yea, as i mentioned, it has nothing to do with us driving a hatchback or an SUV. an idiot in a zen can harass a sedate driver in a scorpio too.

it just about how good our judgement is in that particular vehicle which makes it easy for us to squeeze into non existent gaps (to push the arrongant driver out of our lane!)

anyways, i think i am going OT!

It looks like the Indica's crumple zone has taken the impact quite well and the passenger compartment is intact .

yes it's crack and that happens on NH-8 while driving a pebble roars towards my screen from the tyre of the front car(INDICA) and bamm

now waiting to collect vitamin M so that i can send my car for repaint as there's a hell lot of scratches on it and if i change it right now (before paint ) ,the windshield will be ruined by scratches

Got two accidents yesterday while coming back from delhi to gurgaon
they were near the uppals orchid crossing
one small pick up truck banged into the side railing and second on another side a banged troller was hung from the recovery man .

cant clicked as driving

Every day, when I start from home, I decide that I have to be like a Buddha today - absolutely serene - I even start at 0700 to my Office which is just 3 kms from home.

But, one moron in a BPO taxi or a three wheeler or a Volvo Red Bus, crossing my lane / breaking traffic rules, is sufficient to test my will !!

Still, I want to be a Buddha - absolutely serene when I drive. I'm trying hard in Bangalore

Today's DNA Navi Mumbai supplement carries yet another accident at the Palm Beach / Uran road intersection. From the look of it a Honda City overshot the signal and rammed an Indica sideon. Nice to see the Honda front completely smashed with Indica side steel crumpled. Honda driver deserved it for ignoring the signal !!
