SS is right, the swift rolled over.

Guys the swift was traveling from the same side i took pic. It hit the divider / pole, rolled over and went to the other side of the divider.

This is a bad crash. Hope the occupants are fine. It looks as if something heavy fell on top of it.

However, things have moved on and we do have better vehicles in that category but the aura associated with the pajero has refused to die down and hence even after being dated beyond doubts its still selling in decent numbers for a Rs.22+ lakh vehicle. The other factor is the size, some of us tend to look for maximum sheet-metal for the price we are paying and so choose these old school SUVs over the softroaders even when off-roading is at the last of their lists. I know of atleast some people who went for an endeavour over the captiva for its sheer size and that 'amreekan' image, although its essentially a mini-truck based on Ford Everest which is popular in Thai market rather than America.

I agree every bit of it...ur rite................................

After i changed the look of the car

Sorry again for duplicate pics..not sure how it happened

I tried to take total loss for this car as the repairs are more than what meets the eye...

I had K&N under the hood and FFE along with alloys as mods.

I changed the alloys and tyres into older tyres thinking it wud go as total loss and i cud atleast save the alloys and stereo however tht did not happen so i've to put the alloys back once the car is repaired

Note:The repair pics wud show normal tyres

very bad luck harish. one thing i noted was that you are aware that the third accident occured because you were speeding. i guess you must have learnt from that mistake & now you are a very careful driver.

cheers. happy motoring.

No offences meant but looks like at least in two of the three accidents you do have certain degree of responsibility for them. I suggest that you temper your driving style for sometime. It is generally advisable that once a car has turned turtle, to go total loss as the strength of the A and B pillars wont be same like before. Generally insurance gives total loss if the repair cost is about 75% of the IDV which I think should satisfy your case.

Is that the picture of an Alto that has flipped 3 times!!!

The pillars are still holding on!

Guess the build of the Alto was grossly under-estimated by me! I never ever thought that the pillar would hold out well even with a single roll, but we see a 3-roll result!

So Harish, is the vehicle now recovering from the last roll? Hope you have better luck from now on man! They say right, bad luck comes in 3's or something. So, I guess you did your share!

You're rite happy wheels. My car turned turtle 3 times and still the pillars are kinda holding on.
I've still not seen anyone posting a alto rollover on this thread so im not sure if it was luck or actually the strength.

I'm going to get it on 10th May or so i'll also post the post repair photos for reference
