Yes that is the law. By logic if you are innocent stop and co operate. 99 out of hundred will be innocent but the 1 left out might bomb a public place and kill 1000 people or might be raping someone in the moving car. If you are ok with that god speed I have nothing more to add.

Different turn of events compared to the Polo or Carnival delivery video. New Honda Africa Twin owner takes delivery of bike by riding down the dealership stairs, ends up damaging the stairs.

re: Accidents in India | Pics & Videos

Saw this Amaze that had crashed into the bus lane and overturned on Iblur flyover, ORR, Bangalore this morning. No idea how the car ended up like that. My guess is that the car entered the flyover pretty fast and lost control on the sharp curve on top of the flyover. I drove on the ORR first time after those bollards were installed. The stretch between Iblur - Silkboard is pretty narrow and it's a challenge to pass heavy vehicles on this stretch without touching those bollards. Even with such light traffic in the morning, I witnessed a lot of near miss situations that were caused by the bollards. I can only imagine the situation once the traffic is back to normal on ORR.

Not only the stairs but his new bike as well. 32 seconds into the video, I can clearly see the bike's underbelly hit one of the steps.

Nothing happened to the bike. The bash plate took the full impact & did the job. In a way the rider was able to demonstrate the Africa Twin's capability in the first ride itself.

Oh my god. It made me skip few beats. At first I thought the biker hit someone standing at the median and sped away...Sadly it was the biker himself hitting the pole after loosing control at speed during the curve. Sad. I hope against hope that he survived. Thankfully the Samaritans arrived in no time (themselves flouting a lot of traffic rules, but I guess we'll have to let that slide for now). I hope they managed to save a life by calling for medical help.

One can hope against hope, but that does not seem survivable.

This is what happens to a car at about 60 :

This guy seems to be doing the same, approximately, but with bendy breaky bones and crushable tissue.

A clear answer to 'Why one should wear a helmet'. Always.

Scares me as to how fast things can go wrong. Everyday many political debates happen for hours on TV but never a 'Safety awareness show'. Not even once a week.

I understand news is also a business for channel owners, but they also have the power to save so many lives through their channel, since millions of people are their viewers everyday.

In my view, Government should mandate such safety awareness programmes to news channels/other channels.

I hope that man is alive. And never forgets the helmet again.

It is shocking just how easy it is to die! And how being a complete idiot can lead to it.

Sobering and scary.

Riding at those speeds at night with no helmet? Sorry, but this is just a Darwin award candidate.

RIP it is very unfortunate.

True a lot of people feel invincible unless something goes wrong in a blink of an eye.

I know of an incident where a Business man in his 50s in a known circle passed away in a blink of an eye. He was sleeping in an Innova with seat reclined and seat belt on. The driver braked hard to avoid something and the person snapped his neck on the seatbelt. There was no accident or a shunt. That is how fragile we are.

I also wonder with the age where everything is available on video/pics which are circulated like wild fire on various platforms, is it making people feel more scared or aware ? Is it helping in making at least a fraction of people more sensible. A study should be conducted on how such videos effects people on being more responsible. I for one have been very influenced by this thread and become even more careful.
