A 50-year-old man, who worked as a watchman at an under-construction building in Madhapur of Hyderabad, died after being run over by a speeding Ferrari car today. The car is owned by billionaire P.P. Reddy's family as per internet reports. One driver has been arrested. The question remains whether it was really the driver or he is just a pawn.

If it were a truck in place of the Swift, you'll see the crumple zone of Harrier in action.

The passenger shell of Swift looks intact. Occupants should be fine provided they buckled up.

Airbags inside the Harrier have inflated clearly indicating the impact was severe.

Now I'm just waiting for 10 min YouTube videos looping these two images from all possible directions and listing out all specs of Harrier to pop up in my recommendations.

I think the harrier must have suffered a bit of radiator damage for sure. The front members of the two cars don't overlap, and the Swifts has a lot of damage which must have hit something in the harrier.

A senior politician Sanjay Shinde burnt alive after his car caught fire due to a short circuit.
Quote:
According to the local villagers, the short circuit caused a spark which led to the highly flammable hand sanitiser kept in the car to catch fire. As the fire raged, the central locking mechanism of the vehicle was activated, leaving the doors jammed.

Hope someone say, the short circuit was due to those array of loud horns these politicians add

We can imagine the other option as well, If it were a speeding truck instead of Harrier and the momentum it carries.

And what if it was a truck in place of the Harrier?

If a certain car is built well, it is built well (no, I am not referring to Harrier alone). One needs to accept it if not appreciate it. As we all know, every modern day car has crumple zones. Unfortunately some manufacturers have designed their crumple zones a bit too much

Coming to the YouTube part, I too am not a big fan of how those videos exaggerate build quality of a certain car involved in an unfortunate incident without having relevant information. I have blocked all such channels off my list.

Not sure what the driver was thinking while doing this. Traffic cops should be careful not to put their life at risk. Noting down the registration number and taking action later may be just fine. Good to know that the driver was booked for "attempt to murder".

Delhi cop dragged 400 metres on car's bonnet; student held for attempt to murder; incident caught on CCTV
Quote:
New Delhi, October 15
A traffic policeman was dragged for nearly 400 metres while clinging on to the bonnet of a car after he tried to stop it for speeding on a busy road in Delhi.
CCTV footage shows the cop holding on to the car before falling on the road, his legs nearly missing the wheels of the vehicle driven by the offender as other vehicles drive past very close to him.
The offender, a B.Com student, has been arrested and booked under IPC 307 (attempt to murder), police said on Thursday.

We have seen such incidents, but this is horrible. That cop escaped by a whisker.

What is also dis-heartening to see are some of the other cars / two wheelers, who simply wanted to get by.

I am hoping there were some one else from behind stopped to enquire and help the policeman.

This is a really bad one. There clearly is an intent shown by the driver to get the policeman off the car - noticed by the the continuous swaying and braking.

What is the logic behind this forward/reverse gear based on uphill/downhill when you're parking? As long as the car is in gear, any gear, how does it matter when it's parked?

It doesn't matter in most cases but the logic there was that if you accidentally try to start the car while in gear, the car will try to move in the uphill direction which is safer.
