Thank God Your friends are safe.
Was the left front tyre mounted inverse, when towing the vehicle?

Edit: Looks like someone in the rear did not have their seat-belts on, looking at the front passenger seat position and blood spots.

Passenger owes regards to the air bags that is keeping him/her alive. This is a ghastly accident. Drifting/racing should be limited to race tracks. They should build one/ few in all major cities in order to avoid such incidents on public roads.

That Fiesta is a sorry sight. Glad to know the occupants are safe. No seatbelts.

Guys my friend was not racing or drifting(but he was driving fast). what i meant by drifting is that while cornering at high speed he lost control when the back end slid and ended up in a ditch(fishtail) which caused him to ram into some post or wall not sure. None of them were wearing any seat belts the front seat is bent that way because the rear passenger was thrown onto the seat which caused it to bend. There were 4 people on board but all of them are alive with some injuries(except the fiesta its scrapped now).

@rocky balboa the wheel was not mounted in reverse but the wheel got torn of the mounting. its just been picked up from the street and bolted in the place where it should have actually been backwards(you can see the nut holes have been widened in pic4 due to the impact causing it to come off the mounting).

Looking at the damage, the front left end of the bonnet seems to have hit a concrete post. The Fiesta has held up to the impact pretty well. He must have been doing good speed for this much damage to occur.

I am 100% sure that Qualis driver was not wearing the seatbelt. This is evident from the front glass. Sorry state of M800. Luckily no one was trapped when that wall fell

I keep saying... seat belts are as important in the back as the front. Wish you would post that pic to the how-to-make-people-want-to-wear-seatbelts thread.

I guess the only way we can ensure that people wear their seat belts is when car manufactures build some kind of a switch into the seat belt system so that the car wont start without people buckling up.

The front seats of the fiesta surely took the impact. I am sure that the driver must have been at a very high speed (above 100) for that kind of an impact! He's lucky to be alive though. Is the car totalled?

I guess they were wearing seatbelts since the injuries do not seem as major as they could have been.

Is the car declared a total loss?

The car seems to have limited the damage to the bonnet & windshield area. The roof and the doors seem quite intact.

I have never seen alloys in that shape before!
Well I don't know the full story but it seems that the owner wasn't driving himself. He was fast asleep on the next seat while his friend was driving the car and crashed it.

This is the fourth case I'm coming across where I've heard that the friend who was driving the car crashed it while the actual owner was on the passenger seat.

So, my question is, Should you ever trust your car with any other driver?

(I'm posting the pic once again)

I would not let anyone drive my car, if I had one in the first place
"Look what a dear friend has done to my car and also my life probably"... Instead of having to say this, its always best to politely say a "NO" in the first place...

Saw this bashed up ANHC near my place. Car was being towed to the owners residence.
After I took the first pic this helper guy started shouting at me and saying "Photo kyon kheench rahe ho meri gaadi ki?". That pissed me so i took a few more in his face.

The poor thing was damaged badly from the front, the rear and the side. Dont know how. Air bags deployed and I doubt anybody was hurt as the interiors were clean.
