EVen i couldnt...

1. it was not that heavily loaded...

2. This happened inside the city... He couldnt have exceeded 50 kmph...

3. I saw this at 9.45 am, on my way to drop my mom to her office... Must have happened half an hour before... How come in tht traffic, such a situation occured, that he had to brake so hard...

Only reason i can find is that the chasis must have been in a pathetic state, and must have been repaired by some local welder... Could have given up when the braking load came on it...

If this happens in cities, wonder how safe are the trucks flying on our highways...

Accidents like this should be properly investigated by the authorities and also the vehicle manufacturer. It's not a very common sight to see the a folded up truck.

That's why i said the authorities should look into these kinds of weird accidents. Because it just doesn't happen normally. If bad welding job then the owner should be fined and the insurance declined because it's bad maintenance. If illicit liquor then he should be booked.

Anyways these 407 and almost all other trucks have a '[' c section chassis. To carry illicit liquor it should be made like '[]' i don't think they do that. The matador has the tubular 'O' chassis maybe that can be modded to smuggle spirit.

Could it be sabotage....or revenge? A nice clean cut to half the depth of the section using a saw or gas torch....... lolz

Lol.... hehehe brain has no other work to do these days.... But you know Conti's were being used for spirit smuggling. Behind the dash they remove all the pipes and stuff for the blowers and fit a tank with a decent capacity there, the filler of the tank is kept behind that removable panel you see in front of the passenger seat.

Hyundai Getz and Amby head-on collision in Calcutta

This crash occured in front of Tivoli Court in Calcutta today morning at around 3. The guy driving the Getz was totally sloshed and had just come out of a night club. Both the drivers were hospitalised by the cops. The Getz driver has broken legs, don't know about the Amby driver though. The Hyundai was speeding on the wrong side of the road. In the 3rd pic you can see the Getz's battery lying on the road!
Sorry about the crappy pics, cell cam.

Alto + Lorry.

This is what happens if people forget to stick to basic rule ....... " drive on your side of the road " . It was really bad and I had taken the snaps few hrs after the accident apparent from the bloodstains on the seat.
Alto + Lorry =

Saw a similar one about 60 KMs away from Hyderabad on NH-9. It was a Zen colliding with an oncoming truck. I thought Zen driver was trying to pass another vehicle and could not get out of the on coming truck's way in time. It looked as if some one plucked out the front RHS portion of the car.
