Don't have pics but I seem to be seeing in the past 24 hours, 3 Indicabs wrapped around lamposts/ dividers.

Impressed with the crash protection of the car, as for the drivers....

Saw this on the DND today morning at 9:00 am. VIP boys .. VIP car with a VIP regn: no ..

A friend of their's turns up in his Baleno (seen here cutting across) .. another spoilt kid .. accident seems to have happened less than 10 mins ago . ..

I have no idea how this happened .. didn't see any other car around .. how did they get hit on the rear and then climb the divider .. !!

I think the Accord was backended by some other vehicle before it lost control and hit the side railings.

I did a quick trip to Madras yesterday and came back today. The number of crashed vehicles I saw on the way was about 11 and then I lost count.
The worst was an Innova that hit a truck on Coimbator byepass. It was in a very bad shape. even the boot doors were damaged.

On my way back I witnessed 1 accident that just happened. It was a truck which overturned on the road itself. The dumbest thing was it was just left bang in the middle of the road and people were busy unloading the cargo and loading it to another truck. Nobody was worried of the cargo which was spread on the road causing disturbance to other cars passing by. I stopped, got out myself and started moving it out of the way and then people decided to move it.

Zak what you said is really true. All it takes is an initiative by thyself.
Last weekend , I drove to mysore and saw an accent which did a wild spin out due to flat tyre on the highway.
Poor chap in his late 20's was driving alone and was all shaken.
I said wild spin because , it was pretty evident from the tyre marks on the road.
Car launched itself onto the divider and there were quite a few cars which stopped by at the scene.
No one wanted to step ahead and help this poor guy out who was bleeding, because his face hit the steering .
People who stopped pretty much looked like the educated crowd.
Me and my friend were heading for a wedding at Mysore,we stopped by called some of the locals there helped this guy push the car to the side of the highway, gave him some water and tissues to clean himself up.
Asked the chap if he wanted us to call some and he said he was ok. His friends were already on their way.

Point here is that , folks take that initiative when-ever possible and help the needy ones out.Am sure at the end of the day , you sure will feel nice inside.

You can see plenty of trucks overturned in the chennai-hosur highway. there will be no other vehicles involved. it looks so silly, as if a kid throwing tantrums.

Even i would have thought so .. BUT ..

to climb that divider the Accord had to be ATLEAST 60kph plus. Which means the vehicle backending the Accord should have been much faster and heavier (seeing the damage to the rear .. the accord is a solid car mind you) .. but I didn't see any other car around ..

Can't figure that one out - engine compartment intact, boot intact, just the passenger section gone completely, that too major impact on passenger side door. How does that come from getting stuffed into the back of a standing truck - looks more like a truck climbed over it!
