I am just fine & I thank all Bhpians for the real concern showed,I feel that whatever that doesnt kills you ,makes you stronger.Though I cant armwrestle with my right hand, now, I did manage to beat the popular champ{Harish Tanwar,Bouncer with Lyons, chandigarh}with the left .

@hellletloose, you are lucky that the car has dedicated its life to save yours! The front tyre shows abnormal tread-wear. It is not good to have on the steered wheels (front wheels).

How bad was the hip injury? One of my friend had one such hip injury & he is left to live limping for lifetime! Now just thinking of that is just horrible isn't it?

@tantragna the hip is just fine,i've already started attending office w.e.f. 13/01/2010.had the accident on 28-09-2009,was on medical leave for 42 days.

Man imagine if you had done this with your right hand. Poor bouncer would have lost his hand. Never-the-less take care and nice to see your spirit up and running high.

Rental cars (and bikes) have black plates with yellow numbers. Temp registration is red plates with white numbers. Taxi (or public vehicles) have yellow plates with black numbers. Never seen yellow plates with red numbers.

AFAIK, red lettering on yellow background is temporary registration . It takes a real moron to end up with such a crash on a brand new Merc.

Long horn, I have seen this in chennai itself. The dealers while taking the cars for registration to RTO, they have a registration plate which they keep in the dashboard. These are the temp registration and they have red background with white lettering.
