My point was your "victim" can always be brought back to its former glory or replaced with green notes. And a person driving Accord or any fancy cars will have a good amount of that.

When lost lives can also be brought back, I will hop on to your train of thoughts. Till that time, I would remain a lesser petrolhead :-)

Let's take a step back and think. If this was not an Accord but a 800 would so much of media coverage be given? Also conclusions were drawn on the age of the girls, their intoxicated state etc without actually having any proof. Guilty unless proved otherwise? I'm not supporting the girls. I too have a six year old son and can understand what the family of the victims is going through, but this seems to be "media sensationalization" at it's best.

There was an accident right before my office today about an hour or so before. From what i could gather, a 2 wheeler guy driving a Libero suddenly swerved left from the ORR to enter the Service lane without checking his mirrors as usual. A car guy who was just behind him braked hard but couldn't avoid hitting the two wheeler's rear tyre. I noticed that the front glass of the car was shattered and the rear tyre of the 2 wheeler was completely bent. There was a crowd gathered around the spot but by the time i took a U turn and returned, the car had left the spot but the bike was still there. I heard that the 2 wheeler guy fainted and was taken to the hospital in the same car. Did anyone else catch this?

A Fiat Linea rammed into a house, don't know the reason for the accident.

You are right.

In today's newspaper, col is mentioned as Uncle. Her father is said to be a businessman working in Dubai.

Newspapers also say that, she lost her mother when she was young.
She is not US Based (atleast according to the newspapers).
She passed out her XII from Vivek High School in chandigarh and was set to join a college in US in a couple of months.

Well said. However I thing that its not the driver's house otherwise he would have been aware of the impending fall that looks quite scary.

Correct - it may not be the driver's house. It was just an angle of thought.
