Off Roading in a Santro?

https://twitter.com/#!/hiteshrajbhag...33429382184961

Someone insisted on being the first to drive her new Santro, and drove it "from storage" off the first floor - straight out of the window.

Oh well....

Yeah, I dug through the guy's tweets - despite the bad fall, and kids in the car, thankfully, no major injuries.

Didn't capture it on camera, but there was a head-on between a goods lorry and a sumo taxi at the Innovative side of the Marathalli underpass, where the U turn place is. The sumo apparently came down the wrong side of the ramp from Old Airport road towards Innovative and came out onto the ORR and rammed the truck. Fortunately no injuries, as they all were standing around with one traffic policeman furiously taking down notes (license plates and driver details, I presume). Sumo was pretty badly done in, with all it's fluids on the road and bonnet crumpled despite the bull-bars. Truck just had a bent front-right bumper

Edit. Hope this teaches the Sumo fellow that it is wrong to use the wrong side of the road. If he didn't see a truck, what hope would a biker have?

I .. am ... Overjoyed!! I only wish all the cabbies and rickshawallahs in Bangalore were around to "enjoy" the tamasha and as a dire warning!

I am not sure whether to laugh at the driver or just slap him.

Not an accident in India. But nevertheless a chilling video. The video shows what little control we have when things go wrong. Buckle up and drive safe.

Not sure if this video is posted in any other thread.

Thanks. I force myself to watch these videos/pictures even though I find them disturbing, precisely because I find them disturbing. I can't say for sure, but I feel it helps me be a better, safer driver.
