In case of Indigo accident, I am sure it would be very difficult for the car driver to come out surviving.

The left rear of the car is not much damages and there the chances of survival could be there.

dont have an idea as to how the huge thing overturned.but i was told by the guard of a neighbouring restaurent that the 2 ppl sitting in the front were alive whrn taken out but badly injured.there was blood all over though which was being washed.
every probability that they wouldnt have survived till the hospital.

It is difficult but not impossible. Let's hope that they come out of this dangerous situation and live to tell the tale. Let us all pray for them. I read a couple of posts saying the same that there are no chances of survival. Even a bleak chance would be a ray of hope to the victim's family. He could be a father/son/brother/boy friend etc etc to someone. Most importantly, a fellow human being.

But do not forget swift even with decent tyres is very skittish, swift's ability to dance can pose problems under emergency swerves.

Define decent tyres please?
also- the swift is not skittish, its responsive
it does not oversteer or understeer unless there are several simultaneous, ham-fisted, inputs via the throttle, the brakes and the steering.
even when it oversteers, it is very easy to catch it or even turn it into a nice 4 wheel drift.

did you have a tough time driving the swift?

I bet he did not even have licence to drive HEAVY vehicles. Do we even have a law that requries special Licence and Training to drive these things - on the road?

I have seen these BIG Cranes being driven rash that too on the FAST Lane in BLR

If the biggest democarcy (so called) cannot take care of this issue - then who will?

i think Indigo entered from the crossing or parking to the main road without looking left or right. and the crane driver who was probably fast panicked and lost control.

I think swift is skittish under stress, i own a swift with 205/55 r 16 goodyear eagle NCT5 (not a performance tire but its a quite big size for a swift)

BTW swift is a very entertaining drive due the skittish nature but it has potential to scare you too much with sharp inputs on bad roads.

Saw this lying on the roadside on the 15th of July 2008, on my way from Narkanda to Jalori.

Can anyone guess which car that used to be?!
