I spotted a minor accident on NH47 yesterday near Alwaye. It seems that an Alto wanted to take a right at a break in the divider and an Indica wanted to go straight. Problem is, Alto was on the left side of the Indica, on the middle lane and the Alto turned right in to the Indica. That's what the incident looked like from the resting positions of the cars. It happened only a minute or two before I reached the spot - people were only getting out of their cars to inspect the damage. It looked like a fairly low speed accident. Did not see anyone injured and the damages on both cars seemed small.

There was a huge traffic jam on the road behind the Graphite India leading towards the Ring Road via Railway Track Level Crossing.

Upon asking the by passers, one of them mentioned there was an accident and two casualties at the spot.

Anybody got info on this?

The Hindu : Cities / Chennai : Six die in jeep-bus collision

saw this overturned alto in goa a week back. I was on my way from margoa to panaji. don't know about the passengers situation but the roof seems to be intact so might not have been serious.

This morning at around 8:30 a.m there was major accident opposite the ASC centre close to the trinity church road and victoria road junction between a sumo and a taxi registered wagon R. The worst part is that the sumo moron was on the wrong side and the wagon R met its fate because of the recklessness of someone else. The wagon R was completely crumpled from the bonnet to the steering wheel and the sumo was literally on top of the wagon R's bonnet. Am not sure about condition of the occupants though. There was a major traffic jam in that route this morning. Did anyone else come across this accident,? any info on the occupants. ?I suspect severe injuries atleast if not death looking at the condition of the wagon R. When will the call center cab drivers ever learn.

btw there was also a red gypsy with very minor damages also parked close to the accident spot.

Thats my college friend who expired on last saturday. i am still not able to find out in which accident he passed out. Not the car which overturned. Can i know the photo is posted for which accident. His namw was Bala.

This came in today's paper. For the one who cant read: The car hit the speed breaker at high speed and eventually thrown off road by traveling in air at 40ft height finally landing in fishermen's temp hut.

One seriously injured and other multiple minor injuries as well.

2 engg. college Kids inside the car were bashed by mob and later arrested by cops.
Yet another high-fi kids rammed the car at innocent
