Read about this interesting child car seat in the newspapers today. Did some search and found this to be very good. Looks like this is still under development stage and expected to hit the markets late this year or early next year.
As per the newspapers, it costs around 40k in India for this. Worthy investment in my opinion!
Highlights include-
- Deploys a Kevlar applied airbag (fire proof) in case of an accident and protects the child from any flying objects hitting
- Provides fresh air inside the 'cocoon' to the child for about 20min.
- Transmitter sends emergency signals to the GPS coordinators.

Awesome seat, would surely get this for my 2 girls. Am just trying to research and find out till what ages does it extend to. All- please provide inputs on the same.
Looks gimmicky. It makes more sense to make sure there are no objects inside the car that can fly around in case of an accident.
This is still in development as per their site. Looks more of a gimmick now rather than an actual conceptualized product.
