Global NCAP: Renault Duster scores 0 stars without airbag, 3 stars with airbag

Was there any response from Renault India? I wouldnt expect but would really like a clarification on why the Indian version compared poorly here.

Couldn't help noticing that Renault and making airbags smaller seems to be a worldwide thing now:

2017 - smaller driver airbag for the Indian Duster compared to the Latin American/European one.

Driver head shows unstable contact on airbag, Latin American one doesn't.
2019 - smaller combination side airbag (18L) for the Mercosur-made Renault Sandero compared to the one made in Colombia (22L) identical to the European Dacia model.

Driver chest shows weaker MDB and pole side impact protection.
Differences in seat structure too, despite similar external visual appearance:

2021 - European Zoe's seat side airbag reduced from a combination torso-head airbag to a smaller torso airbag in the ZE50 facelift.

Head contacts pole in updated (32km/h vs 29km/h) oblique pole test and protection is poor.

Coincidence?
