Tesla Model X has been described as ‘stand-out performer’. It’s safety assist score was a heady 94 percent, the same score that the Model 3 got earlier this year. The big Tesla also got 98 percent for adult occupant protection. That makes it a contender for Best in Class for 2019.

Credit where it is due - well done, Tesla . For a young 10-year old car manufacturer to accomplish this is no mean feat. It takes a lot of skill, experience & determination to build safe cars. Heck, we have 50-year old car manufacturers who do so poorly in the same tests.

This is brilliant! With the instant power on ta, it is all the more important for cars in these segments to have high safety standards. And Tesla is just delivering that; even the Model 3 sits very high on safety ratings.

All kudos to Tesla. Remember they may have more serious weight issues to work with. I will love to see a Telsa concessionaire in India.
