All Volvo cars now come with a 180 km/h speed limiter

In my opinion, with connected cars, you can control speed limits in real time. When you are in a highway, your speed limits will be extended a certain safe amount and if you are in city limits that changes. A lot like DRS being used in F1 now. Traffic conditions, weather, etc can all be factors that will make these decisions. Data derived decision making is the future even for automobiles. Countries will have to start creating platforms which manufacturers will be a part of. This surely will happen in the near future. Whether that happens in India or not is anyone's guess.

It might seem to be a spoiler but in reality, unless you live in Germany, 200km/h+ is unrealistic. Again, apart from press cars, now many cars even see that speed!

I would prefer this than those silly speed warning alarms

Here's after Volvo stated that they'll watch the drivers and intervene actively if the driver is intoxicated or isn't paying attention while driving.

IMO all cars sold in India should have a electronic speed limit set to120 kph. Also these cars should pass crash tests at their top speeds.

After Volvo, Renault and Dacia will limit their new cars top speed to 180 Km/h.

Renault and Dacia upcoming models will feature an automatic speed control system, named the Safety Coach, it will adjust the speed limit accordingly.
