Re: Bad Drivers - How do you spot 'em

Saw this in the office parking lot. He had loads of team-bhp stickers on his car!!!

PS: The number is not quite visible due to the shaken photo. So I made no attempts to mask the number.

Today followed a Fiat Palio, brakes were on from command hospital to Domlur -either the brakes lights are defective or the person uses a decelerator rather than an accelerator!

never overtake when you don't have a line of sight and DEFINITELY don't overtake on curves! watch!

overtaking maneuver gone wrong!

Re: Bad Drivers - How do you spot 'em

@sanjayk, I am sorry but I couldn't get it: Did you post the pic because the car had too many TBHP stickers? Or is something else wrong?

ajmat, it could be the parking lights. With modern cars the parking lights double as brake lights, only the intensity changes. So in daylight you might mistake the parking light as the brake light. I am always taken in by this folly, till I overtake the vehicle and see its front in my RVM.

I mean you just can't drive a manual transmission vehicle with one foot on the accelerator and the other on the brakes!

I see many vehicles on the expressway leaving their headlights on even after they have crossed the tunnel, and so many vehicles not turning on their headlights inside the tunnels. Oh yes, add them to the lot who switch to the hazard lights as soon as they enter the tunnels.

Re: Bad Drivers - How do you spot 'em

The video definitely is scary.
The guy who is overtaking is the culprit as he should not have done the overtaking in such a curve on a winding road where visibility is not at all there.

Now come to think of it. There are many points to ponder.
The other biker was also overtaking though within his lane is responsible on such a blinder of a curve.

This is what many bikers do on single lane marked narrow roads, ride very very close to the line on curves which is very very dangerous. He stands the risk of getting hit by vehicles coming from the opposite direction trespassing the line knowingly or unknowingly.
The third biker in the video appears to be sticking to the basics and hence would have saved his skin.

(Was the video-grapher waiting for an accident to occur)

i'm thinking whoever took the video might have had a close shave at that spot and hence waited for something like this. just speculating.

Sorry for the duplication, tried checking the link you posted on fb and it was showing not available, and i guessed it would be something from kerala and searching youtube got me this.

The vdo reminds of an accident on my way to home town for my wedding, a brand new xylo killed a bike rider, the bike was coming on the wrong side of the road on NH7 without lights and imagine !

Best part is, no one attacked the xylo driver or tried vandalizing the car, but heard public justifying the bike rider, "y do car drivers fly on the highway, and overspeeding caused the death, not the wrong side driving" I did not feel like waiting further, and the xylo seemed to be owned by a well off localite, so he probably would have managed to solve.
