Dear Shishir,
Its devastating to see you and your son with all those bandages.
The Lord almighty has been with you and your family.
Not a good feeling to see that beautiful spark turn into this.

I too have been through something similar, when a truck rammed onto my Esteem on the Bangalore-Mysore highway from the rear, some 6 months back. The seatbelts saved me and my friend.
Damn the truck drivers. Morons!

Glad to know that there was no one sufering from any major injuries and last but not the least, shock trauma. As someone said here, you need to pay your offerings to the almighty !

I have a son who is of the same age, and I sincerely understand how your son would have gone through. After all, what did your son do to undergo such an incident ! Indeed the world is at times cruel even to the innocent !

Truly, as your signature says, your pet has repaid your deeds by this deed of keeping you and your family intact ! Hats off to Matiz, so far I had only heard of the excellent safety features of a Matiz, but it has proved it now !

I wish you and your family are able to get through this nightmare as quickly as possible !
Thanks for the wishes.Rightly said,Matiz 5 star ratings for safety has been proved now

Your matiz was a well maintained one and its heart wrenching to its sorry state,
equally terrifying is the thought about its passengers at that time.

It must be the providence and an act of Almighty Himself that you and your family escaped unscathed from that accident.

Take proper rest and undergo a complete thorough medical checkup in consultation with your family doc
before resuming work. Since your chest bore the brunt of the impact, donot take it lightly.

We can only pray that no one else undergo the hardship you have to undergo.

Wishing you a speedy recovery.

Dear,
shishir i remember reading about how much you adored your car in one of my posts.I was moved to see the car in such a condition but at the same time was glad that you and your family were ok.

It seems that the car took all the brunt of the impact and protected you from severe injuries. The love and attention that you gave it has borne its fruit.(ofcourse not to forget God's hand in it)
Wish you a speedy recovery.
take care.

Shishir,
Without taking credit away from the Angel, your good reflexes sure did save four lives. Most often people dont buckle up on highways. That was one life-saver.

However, from what I have seen, the truck driver would walk away from all this without a scratch on him.
I have full faith in our judicial system. The same system which will let the truck driver get bail and walk out of the door after causing so much damage.
All the best with your case. Hope to catch you on sunday.

Hi Shishir,

When i read the title of your thread, i thought it wa sone more travelogue
the first photograph of your bundle of joy brought smile to my face. My wife sitting next to me said, Oh so cute..who is he ?

the next image i saw was that of crumpled matiz, automatically both of us said
OH MY GOD

we were very much relieved to to know that you are all safe.
you need to indeed thank your luck and guardian angels.

Enjoy your second life to its fullest. Take care of your cute son.

Shisir,
Providence looked after your kid and family .You will own many cars in future, but I guess you have already realized what's most precious in life. The sight of your son safe and cheerful after the accident, made the Matiz's damage seem irrelevant.

All of you were really really lucky to get out of this with minimum damages. Hats off to MATIZ for saving you all this well. Still I was not able to figure out why the idiot lorry driver did so, what the hell was running on his mind to miss the matiz just opposite to his monster....or someones attempt on your life (seems to be intentional)... by the way was you kid belted at the time of accident
