Mumbai-Badrinath Drive Up

Hi All,

I'm planning to drive up to Badrinath. I'd either drive up from Mumbai or fly to Delhi and drive up from there.

Below is the tentative itinerary ex-Mumbai. I would like to know if this do-able in 6/7 days or not. Road conditions and suggested places to stay.
I have done a few long drives but generally prefer to have a 15 min break every 2.5/3 hours to stretch myself. I generally do runs at a fair clip - 120 (I guess this speed is sustainable on this stretch).

Car is a Cedia. Have done a Mumbai-Ooty run in it and it's performance was solid as a rock. I don't think I'm concerned about the car but please do let me know if I should watch out or be careful of anything.

The itinerary ex-Mumbai would be

Day 1 - Leave Mumbai around 4 PM - Arrive Surat by 8 PM
Day 2 - Leave Surat around 8AM - Arrive Kishangarh by 8PM
Day 3 - Leave Kishangarh around 8 AM - Reach Haridwar/Rishikesh
Day 4 - Leave Haridwar/Rishikesh (what time?) - Reach Badrinath
Day 5 - Badrinath
Day 6 - Leave Badrinath - Reach Jaipur (basically cross Delhi)
Day 7 - Leave Jaipur - Reach Surat
Day 8 - Surat - Mumbai

Is this a good route or should we go via Jaipur-Agra-Meerut and save time in crossing Delhi?

Given the car, driving habit, start/end time, do you think this is too ambitious or can it be done?

Thanks much folks.
