Hi People,

This is real short notice I know and apologies for posting this real late.This was a decision made last night thanks to daughter;s school declaring sankranti vacations

What would be the best route to take from Hyderabad to Panna.Have reservations at Pashan Garh which I assume is around half an hour from the Panna Gates.

Hyderabad to Nagpur is pretty straight forward I guess via the NH7?Approximately how many hours of drive time should this take?I drive a Figo.Intend to do this leisurely with a 1st day break at Nagpur.Wife & 4 yr old daughter travelling as well.Is there any other place to stop beyond Nagpur so that second day travel is lesser?

Second day Nagpur-Panna.This is totally unchartered territory for me.Pls advise best roads for this section and approximate drive timings.

Yes. AP-MH border has some bad stretches. Road-widening works are still in progress in some stretches in AP and MH.

I left Hyderabad at 6 am and reached Nagpur by 2 pm including four breaks one for breakfast, one for tea and two for fuel.

We had one dinner and lunch at Haldiram's, Bardi, Nagpur, which were simply superb. We had our morning tea at a road-side dhaba, which are plenty on NH7.

Very few good eat outs in between HYD-NGP. When we did this stretch ~12 days back we were struggling to find a good one. There is one ~an hour drive from Hyderabad (must be 60-80Kms) on the left hand side (APTDC hotel) which served decent dosas.

My suggestion, start early with something packed for the road which can serve as breakfast (Start preferably @5am), it takes ~7-8 hrs to get to NGP hence by Lunch time you are in NGP.
