Is there places in India with color-changing foliage in fall season, like in Canada?

As art-photographer, would like to tour those places.

Please mention those places, preferably with few photos, if possible.

You can see fall colors in North India - Kashmir, Himachal etc. But from whatever little I have seen it's nowhere close to the New England region of the US - it's more like that in some other parts of the US(seattle for eg) where the fall colors are pretty but not enough to inspire fall tourism.

Not even in europe. North American fall colors have their origin in the ice age. From what I understand, it's leaves' self defence mechanism against pests that evolved over time.

Have driven in India a lot and some more......... have seen Autumn colours only in the foothills / hills of Himalayas.

Have driven in October through Europe+ UK, awesome colours, met a couple of leaf-peeping photographers in the Lake District of UK.

I doubt if you'd get that kind of colours in India. Let me hunt up some photos from Kalpa route, some colours may be seen, will come back to you.

As Carboy said, New England route into the National Park is one of the best in the world around October, had planned a drive to that region, so have done some research on the leaf-peeping routes.

I too thought I can get some pretty good reds and oranges up there near in Utherkhand/ Kashmir to where I planned a car-tour in Sept. with my 5d Mk2 with few lenses.
But will I have to wait till Oct. for any decent scenes, but I afraid by end of Sept. Ladak roads could be closed by BRO....:Frustrati

I found some amazing colors at Chikkamagulur during boat ride in the Bhadra reservoir. This was in october end.
May not be fall colors, yet amazing to watch.

These are mostly flowering trees in forest, well, beautiful they are.

My query is if we can witness something like the below link, ANYWHERE in India suburbs, so that I can save a trip to Beijing or US.

In fall colors, the colors are of those of the leaves, not flowers. Colourful flowers can be seen at a lot of places - but colourful leaves are what makes autumn foliage.
