Route query from Sivakashi to Sabarimala

Dear all,

I understand that there are two routs for going to Sabarimala temple in Kerala from Sivakashi in TN.

1. Sivakashi -Sriviliputhur rajapalayam- Tenkasi - Punalur - pathanamthitta - Sabarimala 255 km.

2 Sivakashi -Sriviliputhur - usilampatti- Theni -kambam- kumily-mundakkayam - Sabarimala 291 km.

I want to know the road conditions in the above routes and if any other better routes, other than the above,

Sivakashi -Sriviliputhur- Rajapalayam- Tenkasi - Punalur - Pathanamthitta.
This is a better route than via Theni-Kumily as road widening is going on in this route.
You can visit Sastha temples Achencovil on onward journey and reach Pathanamthitta directly.
On the way back you can visit Kulathupuzha and Aryankavu temples.
