Folks,

One of my friend is planning to drive from Hyderabad to Kolkatta in 1st week of October. Planned route is Hyderabad-Vijaywada-Vizag-Bhubaneshwar-Kharagpur-Kolkata. I will be doing this trip with my wife and 1.5 year old.

Wanted to know the current Road conditions along this stretch and Expected travel time. he plans to drive from Hyderabad to Bubhaneshwar on Day1 and from there to Kolkata the next day, is it achievable? or take a break at Berhampur?

he will be driving in his 1.4 TDCI Ford Figo.

Day 1: Hyd-Bhub on day 1 is going to be very taxing.Hyd-VJA:4hrs,VJA-Vizag:5-6hrs,Vizag-Bhub:6hrs minimum.Instead you can comfortably do Hyderabad-Vizag on day and Vizag-Kolkata on Day 2.Roads are all good no problems on that front.
