Am looking for a weekend resort around bangalore, say 100 kms from the city. I am looking to take my 8 month old kid along. So Hill stations and forests are ruled out as my son cant take the cold weather.
Any suggestions of a resort near bangalore that is peaceful for a family to stay for a day or two? |
Look athe follwoing
a) Kutteeram by Taj Hotels
b) Angasana spa and resort
c) Golden Palms
d) Native Village
Google for details. All these are in higher price bracket.
Thank you all. I went to Morritt Farm Holidays near Kolar :
Morritt Farms - Home. Very nice place. The accommodation is not luxurious, but the courteous staff more than made up for it.
Cool - did you opt for the blackbuck visit ? Didn't know about the blackbuck foundation before..
Its probably not ok to mention own brands etc here - but we're starting our third property this Jan - a campsite at a farm in the Devarayanadurga Hills. Local food, short treks and hikes in boulder country, temple visits, bonfires and a pool. PM me or @prabhuav for details.

Yep, I did. They took us on a bullock cart to the forest area. There is nothing except blackbuck there. It was a different experience though!

Thanks - Do you have pictures ?
Folks,
Need you valuable inputs/suggestions please:
I'm looking for a night out stay with my friend's family and mine possibly within 60kms from Bangalore. It'll be during weekdays and the ambiance and service should be great. There'll be a kid as well(3 years old). The idea is just to relax in a peaceful place without having to do much.
Thanks!

Check post #31 by Fauji. Most of the list is there. Our Native Village is a nice concept.
Golden Palms is the standard spa and 5 star like stuff.
Hi guys!
I'm looking to book a resort for a group of 15 people. My only criteria other than it being a fun place with good food is that it should be at most 30 km from kormangala.
Our usual favorite is Angana, but they're fully booked. Heard the food at Guhantara is not great.
Currently considering Confident Cascade.
Can anybody advise? Happy New Year to all in advance!
Thanks a ton!
Tassem.
I and my college mates are planning to have our family meet in Mango mist in Mid November. Tentatively stay would be from Friday afternoon to Sunday afternoon with group activities to be concentrated on Saturday full day. There would be about 20 couples and 15-20 children of various age groups in total.
Any suggestions.

There are many resorts around Bangalore, choose one based on what you're looking for like calm and serene surrounding, water rides for kids, large swimming pool, etc. Here are some of them:
-Club Cabana and Prakruthi (now Windflower ?) both off the KIAL Airport Road/NH 7
-Area 83, Eagle Ridge both off Bannerghatta Road
-Discovery Village (near Nandi Hills off NH 7 and another in Kanakapura)
-Golden Palms off NH 48 (Tumkur Road)
Any recommendation of a good resort within budget of 5k per night around Bangalore for weekend relaxation with family. Need a place which ensures all covid protocols seriously.

If you can drive 3/4 hours, you’ll find excellent JLR properties at MM hills or the one at Gopinatham. These don’t cost beyond 1.5 or 2K per person, including the food.
I’m not sure if the resorts at the outskirts of Bangalore are open yet, in full scale.
