Hoganekal Via Denkanikota ?

Planning for Hoganekal this weekend. Did some body travel via
Hosur - Denkanikota - Pennagaram route. Distance seems to be much less via this route than the normal Krishnagiri - Dharmapuri . Any idea on road condition and distance

Did this trip happen? Whats the route? Is it off NH-7 at Anekal/Chandapura? Ghat section?

I did this on my return from Hogenakkal (after nice Coracle ride with fresh fish fry and curry and rasam YUMMM :-) ).
About 10 kms were really rough. Otherwise reasonable road. I mean, 40-60 kind of road. Not the 90-100 roads of NH7.

Last month I drove to Denkanikota to attend a friends marriage....The road to Denkanikota from Hosur was excellent, you can enjoy ur drive at 60kmph...since thalavoy has tried out, i guess i will try this road next time when i got to Hogenakkal...also total distance reduces to 135km comapred to 190km via Dharmapuri...
Also road expansion work is on, hence in another 3-4 hours it would a broader 2 laner road....
