Thanks I was trying to remember this name while posting. Yes Meenakshi Bhavan is a good option. Also would love to know, if any of them have opened up on the Trichy-Dindigul section.

I think there is one inside Dindigul. None on the bypass last time I went. There was one other restaurant that's there immediately once you turn towards Theni from NH7, but don't know the name nor its quality. Trichy-Dindigul is one of the emptiest stretches for restaurants.

Can also try Sangeetha's in Trichy (J.Ravi's favorite) which is near Main Bus Stand in Trichy. Its not too far away from the turnoff towards Dindigul.

If you are driving out of Trichy, bus stand would be a big big detour and its a traffic black hole. Anything on the bypass would be good. I remember while driving out Trichy towards Thirupattur (Brahma Temple) (towards Chennai beyond Samayapuram exit), couple of them on the highway. They seemed decent. Dont remember the name though.
