Okay guys,

Here are some awesome pics of 2 of the roads included in this poll.
They were sourced by me from searching at WebShots.com, a couple of weeks ago. However, i cannot find the pages i got them from anymore.... but they are too good to not be posted, so credit is due to the unknown people who these images rightfully belong to ...(hope they dont mind!)

Palm beach marg -9km of slightly curved bliss, with occasional intersections.

The Mumbai-Pune Expressway

Expressway view from near Khandala

Expressway view from a person paragliding (from khandala i think) how cool is that!!

Thats the good ones i could find.
Sadly, couldnt find any of beautiful NH17.

NH63 i.e the dharwad-ankola road through kalghatki -yellapur is the bestroad that i have seen.i regularly touch 120-140kph and average abt 70-80 km per hour in my zen and have maxed out at 160 quite frequently.this road has traffic but still it is not heavy.and it is fun to drive in the afternoon.so u have to start at 3-4am from mumbai to reach dharwad by 11-12pm abt 580km from mumbai.after that it is a blast.
then comes the mumbai goa road.
and then comes the nh17 from ankola to mangalore.

guys ,
if u do not have the time for a long drive ,then u xcan go for a small one i.e take the mumbai goa road till the first toll booth just after karnala, and then take a left turn just before the toll booth .this road goes to meet the old mumbai pune highway which is still better to drive than the expressway with its superb turns.here u have an option of either taking this road or go further till the expressway which u can take aftera toll of 20rs.and from there come back through panvel.
the ghodbandhar road is also superb.
but nh17 till mangalore via goa and NH 63 from dharwad to ankola is the best.

All u guys have given bombay roads ....
for a delhiite id say the toll road between Delhi and jaipur is awesome ....
u can do some really crazy stuff there ..
i have personally tested most of my cars there ..

plus being an indian highway this road is packed with some surprisesof its own ...
like sudden braking qualises, good ol village cows, surds in santros etc

id vote for the delhi jaipur highway any day
